PM Methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, and/or Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
Leadership & Communication skills to manage senior stakeholders and technical teams.

About the role:
The Technical Project Manager oversees the project management, planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of new product development and lifecycle management projects in accordance with agreed upon scope, timing, and budget. The role requires driving cross-functional project execution through collaboration with various functional groups, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
- Consistently project manage and deliver projects to ensure completion on time within the agreed scope and budget.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to New Product Development and Lifecycle Management projects.
- Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project and establish the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc.) required to complete the project activities.
- Work within a cross-functional team to ensure workstreams are appropriately planned and integrated into master schedules.
- Develop a communication plan and provide updates on assigned projects to stakeholders.
- Review project schedules with senior management and project team members; revise schedules/plan as required to ensure successful completion.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Manage compliance to both Design Control and Business processes, such as preparation for Gate reviews with core team and ensuring rigorous adherence to IDEAL, the Convatec new product development process.
- Set up files to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
- Support the PMO to develop and enhance project management tools, processes, and systems to ensure consistent and efficient ways of working.
- Can make decisions in consult with the New Product Delivery Lead on timeline e.g. opportunities to accelerate. Is expected to challenge assumptions provided by all project stakeholders with the aim of ensuring accuracy and quality in aggressive yet realistic timelines.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering New Product Development or Lifecycle management projects.
- Prior experience developing medical devices strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, database software, MS Outlook, Project Management Cloud Software.
- Strong communicator; Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
- Leader and team-worker who actively looks to develop themselves and others; proactively networks across a complex organizational hierarchy and works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals and resolve problems.
Education/Qualifications:

- Scope & Requirements Definition: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies using appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial forecasting and reporting to ensure delivery within constraints.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, coordinating with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to minimise impact on timelines and outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Governance & Reporting: Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates on progress, milestones, risks, and budget.
- Change Management: Develop and execute a change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of new ServiceNow features and processes by end-users.
- 5+ years of dedicated project management experience with a track record of delivering complex ICT projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing at least two significant ServiceNow implementation, migration, or platform uplift projects.
- ServiceNow knowledge of standard modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD).
- PM Methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, and/or Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
- Leadership & Communication skills to manage senior stakeholders and technical teams.
- Financial Acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications ServiceNow CSA or other relevant certifications; PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner is a plus.
- Experience delivering projects within government or large enterprise environments.
