As a Team Leader, you will manage, supervise and mentor a number of operational service delivery teams to ensure staff of these teams consistently demonstrate professional and ethical conduct and provide high quality services and support to people with an intellectual disability.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
The Team Leader key responsibilities are:

• Managing, implementing, and monitoring the delivery of accommodation support and respite services to people with an intellectual disability, ensuring high quality outcomes, consistent service provision and continuous improvement in accordance with Human Service Quality Standards and AS&RS' Governance Structure.
• Providing leadership and supervision to several operational service delivery staff in accordance with human resource management policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, 24-hour support to people with an intellectual disability who access services from the department.
• Developing effective working relationships with key stakeholders including people with a disability, families, guardians, other government, and non-government agencies.
• Monitoring the implementation of all relevant legislative requirements, departmental policies, and guidelines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing on-the-ground leadership and support to staff across Ipswich, Scenic Rim and the Redlands regions
• Conducting face-to-face visits with participants and team members to foster engagement, monitor service quality, and build relationships
• Managing team rostering and participating in on-call rotations
• Supporting the delivery of person-centred services in line with NDIS principles and participants' goals
• Acting as a mentor, role model and problem-solver for the team
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure best practice and continuous improvement
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the NDIS or disability services sector
• A hands-on attitude; comfortable stepping into frontline support when needed
• Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and quality standards
• Excellent communication, time management and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable with travel between sites and commuting across Ipswich, Scenic Rim and Redlands
• Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and assist with staff rostering as needed
• Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and relevant qualifications

Are you a natural leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service?

Under the leadership of the F&B Manager and with the support of the existing Leadership Team, the Team Leader is responsible for the front of house (FOH) operations ensuring a superior guest experience.

Whilst this role operates across all areas, there will be a significant focus on the GRSC Bistro, Bar and Functions. The role will also assist with compliance to relevant Registered Clubs legislations, venue security and the overall protection of the venue licence. In the absence of the F&B Manager the Team Leader will be responsible for the operation of the venue.

Key Duties:

• Lead and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding service and exceed guest expectations.
• Operations Management: be a core part of planning and execution of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
• Opening and closing procedures , scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Staff Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to the venue staff. Assign and delegate duties, conduct regular staff meetings, and monitor performance.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality and presentation of food, beverages, and service provided in the venue.
• Functions: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special promotions. Set up and pack down of event rooms and coordination on the day when required and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcome.

Our ideal candidate

You will come with a solid F&B experience either in a large restaurant leading the team or a functions centre where delivering exceptional functions is just second nature for you. You are a natural leader and know how to communicate and bring the best out of your team. You also don't shy away from difficult conversations and you can address staff performance to ensure they feel supported and coached at the same time.

• Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry , preferably in a club or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, event management, and customer service best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and creating memorable events.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA ) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG ).
• Advanced RCG competency is a bonus and must be willing to obtain due to legislation changes.

Your New Role
The Team Leader role is responsible for building and leading a high performing member-focused team to deliver a 'Members First' experience to Aware Super members. This role is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Service Consultants to exceed individual and team targets across, inbound/outbound, voice enquiries, written (including social media and live chat), along with and face to face member enquiries. • Ensure service and advice is provided to members and employers within regulatory guidelines and compliance with all relevant legislation and business policies.
• Develop and coach a high performing team, that delivers expected service performance. Work closely with other Team Leaders and across the value stream to improve First Contact Resolution and overall member satisfaction.

This is a 12 month full time opportunity, based in Perth CBD.

Your role

The Team Leader leads the frontline service delivery of housing client service teams, providing direction, support and feedback for all team members to facilitate delivery of quality client focused outcomes; contributes to asset and service delivery planning and makes decisions in relation to asset utilisation and maintenance.

The role is pivotal in managing key relationships within a geographical area and in relation to specific housing services as well as managing the implementation of change within the team.

What You’ll Do

• Allocate workloads, monitor and report on team performance based on service priorities and program requirements to ensure service delivery commitments are met.
• Manages the team budget and the quality of work generated by the team as well as compliance with relevant policy and legislation in relation to the Housing Act and including work health and safety, equity and diversity.
• Supports development of the team, brokering or providing coaching and training as needed to maximize team performance.
• Contribute to business and performance planning at the district level and plan activities and projects to ensure the team meets broader planning and service commitments.
• Promotes and participates in community building programs and whole of government initiatives to strengthen communities and enhance opportunities for community participation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key partners including NSW Police, Local Area Health services, Local Members, other government and non-government service providers to better meet client needs.
• Works collaboratively with other service delivery teams within the district and across Homes NSW to enhance access, effectiveness and quality of service delivery and client outcomes.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership skills, including in engaging and motivating staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients and the department, in a high-volume work environment.
• Capacity to provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to develop team members, including new Client Service Officers during “on the job training” and a mandatory probation period.
• Skills and confidence to provide clear and constructive feedback to promote individual accountability and develop staff capability.
• Can communicate effectively to efficiently foster and manage key stakeholder engagement, both internal and externally.
