We’re the type of agency that turns brilliant ideas into incredible outcomes. Here’s some of our greatest hits:

  • Delivering more than 30 million extra visits per year through SEO for one client alone, equating to 470% growth in a little over three years.
  • Generating millions of dollars in yearly Google Ads savings for leading companies, often eclipsing 80% improvements in ROAS from previous campaigns.
  • Being trusted with one of the largest Facebook Ad campaigns in Australia for six years running, enabling hyper growth for one of Australia’s best-known and fastest-growing brands.
  • Growing multiple publishers and SaaS companies through to $100m+ acquisitions and public listings.
  • Designing and developing websites that power some of Australia’s well-known companies and winning a bevy of awards for this work.

About the role:

Our team is growing fast and embracing new challenges, so we're looking to hire a new Senior SEO Manager to join our team.

This is a fast-paced and fast-growth position. As a senior member of the Consulting team, you will be delivering complex SEO campaigns for a diverse group of clients.

Reporting directly to the Managing Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complex SEO analysis - conduct SEO Audits, perform technical SEO analysis, implement on-page SEO improvements, conduct SEO research, perform SEO gap analysis (future state vs current state), and uncover meaningful and actionable insight.
  • Advanced SEO strategy - develop advanced SEO strategies, plan complex SEO campaigns, create SEO-optimised site architectures, develop SEO content plans, and synthesise SEO campaign activities and results into digestible and meaningful client reports.
  • SEO delivery - execute SEO campaigns and implement SEO specifications, ensuring a high quality of outcome and alignment between all SEO sub-functions, and optimising SEO campaigns to meet performance targets.
  • SEO knowledge – be an expert with SEO tools, systems, and frameworks, including technical SEO, site architecture, content, and on-page, while also maintaining a strong strategic working knowledge of off-page SEO and broader marketing disciplines.
  • SEO troubleshooting - provide SEO advice to other consultants, identify SEO issues, troubleshoot technical SEO problems, review deliverables, and make both data-driven and intuitive recommendations for actionable improvement to other team members.
  • Quality focus - manage workloads autonomously, embrace problems, collaborate effectively, deliver high-quality work on time and budget, adapt quickly, solve issues proactively, and take pride in producing excellence.
  • Client engagement - build strong client relationships, tailor recommendations to goals, deliver excellent service, earn positive feedback, and take ownership of agency success.
  • AI & emerging technologies – embrace your AI-obsession and voracious appetite for learning to take an AI-first approach to reimagining SEO, building AI concepts, researching AI visibility, and contributing to our AIO/GEO service development.

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking someone with 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably with agency experience, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, technology, or other associated disciplines. Additional digital marketing coursework or master’s level degrees will be looked upon favourably.

You will have expert-level experience with:

  • SEO Tools – including Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • SEO Technologies – including XML sitemaps, schema, structured data, mod_rewrite, 301 redirects, robots.txt, meta tags, and other core SEO fundamentals.
  • CMS – WordPress, Shopify, and other popular CMS, as well as the ability to recommend SEO strategies that consider broader UX considerations.
  • Data – analysis, reporting, and data visualisation capabilities, enabling you to make insightful decisions and recommendations.

Bonus points if you can also demonstrate experience and capabilities with:

  • GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, and ETLs.
  • Strategic working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Organic Social, Remarketing, Email Marketing, Brand, UX, Web Design, Web Development, Copywriting, and Graphic Design.
  • Experience developing AI automations and building AI agents.

Most importantly, you will demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm that goes beyond your professional experience. You will be especially hungry to contribute to the team at an advanced level of capability, assisting your peers to achieve excellence.

As the successful candidate, you will be an individual who thrives in a small and dynamic agency that punches above its weight, possessing the ability to collaborate with team members, whilst enjoying the autonomy to immerse yourself in challenges.
