We are seeking a passionate and results-driven People & Capability professional to join our dynamic NSW People team. This role is central to our business, translating strategic goals into impactful people outcomes that foster success.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders across our Store Network, including Store Business Managers, Area Managers, and Support Function teams, to design and implement initiatives that support our business priorities and build a high-performance culture.
With responsibility for a portfolio of 29 stores across NSW, you will have the opportunity to shape our people strategy in a changing environment. The role offers a hybrid work model, involving one day a week at our North Rocks office and 2-3 days engaging with teams in our stores.
Key Responsibilities:- People Strategy Implementation: Support the execution of strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent aligned with our People Plan.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to deliver people strategies that align performance, capability, engagement, and talent initiatives with organizational goals.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build talent pipelines, assist in workforce planning, and develop succession plans, partnering with Talent Acquisition and business leaders.
- Employee Relations: Provide coaching and advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Dispute Resolution: Support managers in resolving industrial disputes and grievances effectively.
- Leadership Development: Facilitate leadership development programs to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Change Management: Coach leaders on change management principles to ensure successful change initiatives.
- Workplace Safety: Collaborate with injury management and W&HS specialists to support injury management and return-to-work processes.
You bring experience in business partnering and a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, with a strong focus on culture. Your qualifications include:
- At least 1 year of hands-on HR experience in strategic and operational business partnering, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities that inspire action.
- Proven problem-solving skills for resolving complex issues.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- A forward-thinking approach to business improvements.

The Role

Our People and Capability Partner, has an integral role within the site leadership team and within the national People and Capability team. In this fast-paced role you will guide and coach leaders, shape and implement our people plan, and cultivate a high performing and engaged team!
Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Manager - Vic & Tas, you will work with a team of People and Capability professionals to support optimal site performance and ensure that change initiatives are well-supported to deliver high-quality products safely and with high employee engagement.
When required, you will use your expertise in case management, injury management and industrial relations. You will ideally have experience in EA negotiations within a manufacturing environment.
Supported by our Centres of Excellence within the wider People and Capability function, you will work closely with the leadership team within the Tatura site, to ensure we deliver the best possible people experience at Bega.
Please note that this is a five day a week site-based role.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager People and Capability VIC & TAS, you will support optimal site performance for two of our manufacturing sites, Koroit and Port Melbourne. You will be based at our Koroit site with travel to Port Melbourne site ideally twice each month.
As the People and Capability Partner it will be your role to ensure that change initiatives are well-supported to deliver high-quality products safely and with high employee engagement.

The People & Capability (P&C) Business Partner is a newly created position reporting to the Senior Executive Officer/General Manager Human Resources and will join a diverse and fun team of seven (7) HR professionals. This position will work closely with leaders and teams on workforce planning, employee relations, performance improvement and some recruitment activities.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about partnering with leaders and teams to achieve positive outcomes for the organisation and be a champion of workplace culture and wellbeing and enhancing the employee experience.
You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience as a generalist HR professional e.g. Advisor level
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other industrial legislation; experience and ability interpreting Awards and Agreements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to travel across Metropolitan sites as required
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and provide evidence of rights to work in Australia
- Experience in the NFP, Community Services, Aged Care sector will be highly regarded

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven People & Capability professional to join our dynamic NSW People team. This role is central to our business, translating strategic goals into impactful people outcomes that foster success.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders across our Store Network, including Store Business Managers, Area Managers, and Support Function teams, to design and implement initiatives that support our business priorities and build a high-performance culture.
With responsibility for a portfolio of 29 stores across NSW, you will have the opportunity to shape our people strategy in a changing environment. The role offers a hybrid work model, involving one day a week at our North Rocks office and 2-3 days engaging with teams in our stores.
Key Responsibilities:- People Strategy Implementation: Support the execution of strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent aligned with our People Plan.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to deliver people strategies that align performance, capability, engagement, and talent initiatives with organizational goals.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build talent pipelines, assist in workforce planning, and develop succession plans, partnering with Talent Acquisition and business leaders.
- Employee Relations: Provide coaching and advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Dispute Resolution: Support managers in resolving industrial disputes and grievances effectively.
- Leadership Development: Facilitate leadership development programs to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Change Management: Coach leaders on change management principles to ensure successful change initiatives.
- Workplace Safety: Collaborate with injury management and W&HS specialists to support injury management and return-to-work processes.
You bring experience in business partnering and a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, with a strong focus on culture. Your qualifications include:
- At least 1 year of hands-on HR experience in strategic and operational business partnering, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities that inspire action.
- Proven problem-solving skills for resolving complex issues.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- A forward-thinking approach to business improvements.
- Deep commercial acumen and understanding of business operations.

The Opportunity
As a P&C Business Partner, you will play a key role across the entire employee lifecycle spanning recruitment, performance appraisal, succession planning, remuneration, and beyond. Leveraging your leadership skills and HR expertise, you will act as a trusted strategic partner, coaching leaders and their teams to excel.

With a proven track record in successfully leading strategic initiatives from concept to completion, you will ensure an outstanding people experience at every stage. Key Selection Criteria
- 10+ years of experience in a People & Capability Business Partner or similar HR leadership role
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field
- Extensive experience supporting Executive Managers in change management and business transformation
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic partnering, coaching, and change management skills
- Ability to hold leaders accountable in a supportive and constructive manner, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

The Role
Our Tatura site is the country's largest producer of cream cheese! As well as cream cheese it also processes infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.
Our People and Capability Partner, has an integral role within the site leadership team and within the national People and Capability team. In this fast-paced role you will guide and coach leaders, shape and implement our people plan, and cultivate a high performing and engaged team!
Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Manager - Vic & Tas, you will work with a team of People and Capability professionals to support optimal site performance and ensure that change initiatives are well-supported to deliver high-quality products safely and with high employee engagement.
When required, you will use your expertise in case management, injury management and industrial relations. You will ideally have experience in EA negotiations within a manufacturing environment.
Supported by our Centres of Excellence within the wider People and Capability function, you will work closely with the leadership team within the Tatura site, to ensure we deliver the best possible people experience at Bega.
Please note that this is a five day a week site-based role.

The Role
Our Koroit site manufactures a range of dairy products including skimmed and full cream milk powders, buttermilk powders, milk protein concentrate, lactoferrin powder, retail milk powders, anhydrous milk fat, liquid cream and butter. The site produces a staggering 35 tonnes of lactoferrin extract annually.
Reporting to the Senior Manager People and Capability VIC & TAS, you will support optimal site performance for two of our manufacturing sites, Koroit and Port Melbourne. You will be based at our Koroit site with travel to Port Melbourne site ideally twice each month.
As the People and Capability Partner it will be your role to ensure that change initiatives are well-supported to deliver high-quality products safely and with high employee engagement.
