School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Dubbo Local Government Area

In this Role, you’ll

Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers and local motorists. You’ll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.

This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Dubbo Local Government Area . Shifts may fall between the school zones hours 8.00 to 9.30AM and 2.30 to 4.00PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as and when required Monday to Friday during the school term.

You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

About you

You're a community minded person who would like to contribute.

You’d get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy.

You're reliable and prepared to show up for your community - in good or bad weather.

You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

The Role

Undertakes research and analysis to provide advice on issues related to the financial and accounting impactions across the local government sector.

Develops policy for consideration related to the implementation of financial management practices and application of accounting principles.

Contributes to the efficient delivery of all related activities leading to the implementation of financial and accounting policy.

Participates as a member of the Directorate’s senior management team and along with other members, maintains a constructive and collegiate discipline within the team.

School Crossing Supervisor – Casual - Goulburn Local Government Area

In this Role, you’ll

Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers and local motorists. You’ll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.

This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Goulburn . Shifts may fall between the school zones hours 8.00 to 9.30AM and 2.30 to 4.00PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as and when required Monday to Friday during the school term.

You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

About you

You're a community minded person who would like to contribute.

You’d get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy.

You're reliable and prepared to show up for your community - in good or bad weather.

You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. And one more thing! As you’ll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before, we will help you through the process! If you already have a Working with Children Check, that’s fantastic as that will speed up the process.

Recruitment Timeline:
