How you will drive success:

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies aligned with global growth objectives, with a strong focus on sales pipeline acceleration and lead progression.
  • Lead core marketing functions including digital, PR (in partnership with our agency), and events to drive awareness and engagement across key markets.
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to align campaigns with the buyer journey, ensuring smooth lead handoff, nurturing, and conversion tracking.
  • Build and execute channel and partner marketing initiatives to support indirect sales and expand market reach.
  • Bring a strong understanding of sales operations, funnel metrics, and marketing attribution to optimise campaign ROI and forecasting accuracy
  • Monitor performance against budget, adjusting tactics to maximise impact and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent messaging, strong brand presence, and market traction.

A bit about the role

Based in our Melbourne office and reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering our paid digital and social media strategy across the global business. Locally, you will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns specific to the Australian territory.

As lead on paid digital and social, you’ll be expected to develop and execute paid media strategies across multiple digital channels, optimise activity and prepare reports to share learnings and insights with external partners.You’ll also be responsible for developing and executing an internal social media strategy that is aligned to our broader company objectives.

You will be expected to run experiments, identify opportunities for growth, collaborate with the marketing team and communicate any trends, insights, results or learnings with the wider team. You will also have access to a design team who can produce both static and video creative for digital channels.

In the role, you will have five main focus areas:

  • Paid campaign management - Development, execution and optimisation of above-the-line digital campaigns.
  • Social content management and delivery - Briefing, creation, scheduling and delivery of social content.
  • Optimisation and reporting - Ongoing review and optimisation of social strategy and reporting of results to the wider team.
  • Social community management - Engaging with and fostering B2B and B2C audiences across social channels, responding to comments and questions and generating leads.
  • Australian territory delivery - Executing marketing strategy in the Australian territory including delivery of partner campaigns, SEO content and communications.

Objectives

Your performance will be rated on your ability to, deliver the following objectives:

  • Use social to drive more sports fans to the FANZO venue finder - Increasing the number of users landing on our platform from social channels.
  • Use social to increase B2B engagement and drive sales - Building our network of venues on social, driving engagement and generating sales.
  • Use paid social to increase revenue from brands and partners - Secure additional revenue from brands and partners by running paid above-the-line activity to support campaigns.

Who are we looking for?

A social media and digital marketing professional who lives and breathes sport. You’ll be expected to meet with both internal and external stakeholders and operate as a key part of the global marketing team. This means we’re looking for a team player who’s organised, cool under pressure and holds themselves to the highest professional standards.

Skill & experience required

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing or social media role
  • Experience in building and optimising paid campaigns across digital channels
  • A formal university qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Passionate about sport both in Australia and internationally
  • Mastery of Meta Business suite, Google Ads and experience in other paid digital platforms
  • Experience developing and executing content plans across organic social channels
  • Good communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with Google Suite in particular
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to prioritise your workload
  • Basic proficiency in digital design is not essential but favourable

Working arrangements

FANZO is a fast-growing company of hugely passionate people split across 4 countries (UK, Ireland, France, and Australia). The team is currently 38 people and will grow rapidly over the next few years.

You will report to the Head of Marketing whilst also working closely with the local team in Australia, global marketing team and partnerships teams. In the role, you will get the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in the industry.

While we have some flexibility in working-from-home arrangements, you will be expected to work from our office in Collingwood most days.

The start date for the role will be in March 2025 and the salary range will be between $65,000 - $5,000 depending on experience of the successful candidate.

A leading client in the Retail / Industrial space who are experiencing exciting growth.

Job Description

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, social media, EDMs, and display advertising (B2B & B2C)
  • Oversee website content and updates, ensuring SEO best practices and brand consistency
  • Manage external agencies and content creators, leading fortnightly WIP meetings
  • Generate and present digital performance reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns align with broader business goals

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years' experience in a digital marketing role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Proficiency with platforms like Shopify, Klaviyo and/or Mailchimp
  • Working knowledge of Monday.com and GA4
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A creative yet analytical approach with excellent attention to detail

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and creative Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing campaigns that promote our brand, products, and services. You will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space and driving website traffic and leads.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.
  • Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter)
  • Optimize content for the website and social networking channels to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and others.
  • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools and prepare reports.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
  • Assist in the development of content marketing strategies and coordinate with designers and writers.
  • Manage and maintain the company website, including updates, improvements, and ensuring the site is SEO-friendly.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or freelancers when needed.
  • Stay updated with current digital trends and best practices.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a digital marketing or similar role.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Hubspot.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Strong graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Flexible and available to work additional hours during peak periods when required.
  • Familiarity with the charitable sector.
  • Exposure to CRM systems and project management tools.
