St Vincent’s is Toowoomba’s largest and oldest private hospital. Our 197 bed facility services the Darling Downs and South West region of Queensland - a catchment area with more than 400,000 people. The hospital features a new Intensive Care Unit, two large medical wards, palliative care and rehabilitation facilities, cardiology including advanced diagnostics and interventional cardiology, 11 operating theatres, the only private Emergency Department and the only private maternity service in the city. St Vincent’s employs the most experienced and qualified nurses and allied health staff.
Our current Physicians have significant waiting lists. There are opportunities to build your new practice with a mix of inpatient consulting, outpatient clinics, maternal medicine and peri-operative medicine. You will participate in an admitting roster of like-minded colleagues and there are opportunities for research and to contribute to governance and service development.
St Vincent’s Toowoomba offers generous support packages to help establish Visiting Medical Officers which include financial support, private suite, administrative support and promotion. We can alternatively arrange introduction to join one of several existing private practices.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.

- Ideally minimum 3 years' experience within an Urban Planning role.
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning, and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/state government environment.
- Proficient appreciation and understanding of strategic policies, processes and influences.
- Proficient appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
