About the role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Team Leader for our Sunshine Coast team due to ongoing growth. This position provides leadership to technicians on a daily basis.

Day to day tasks would involve:
Structural elements of large civil projects including small bridges, retaining walls, stormwater and wastewater pits, drainage pits, retaining walls and culverts.
Large scale asset maintenance and condition assessment
Scoping, design and construction support
Providing up to date knowledge of construction methods and materials, and their impact on design/construction.
Delivery of practical and innovative engineering solutions for clients
Collaborating across disciplines to deliver a complete solution to a project
Ensuring technical work and design calculations are of the highest standard
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
Demonstrated structural design experience of large Civil Projects
Ideally experienced within a consulting environment
RPEQ (Structural) accredited (preferred)
Structural software knowledge of RAM Concept, SpaceGass or ETABS
Experience using a palette of structural materials
Familiarity with the current Australian design codes
Familiarity with the analysis, design, reporting and presentation
Written and verbal communication skills

A day in the life
As our ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Store Manager to ensure that targets and KPIs are met and exceeded
- In the absence of the Store Manager, leading the team independently to set and achieve goals
- Overseeing the daily operations of customer service, store presentation, housekeeping, security and stock management
About you
An ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will have:
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team - You'll be your team's number 1 hype person and your Store Manager's right hand!
- Strong alignment with our brand and organisational values
- A can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and natural leadership skills
- A desire to bring their personal best to every shift and get the best of out of others
- Their own reliable form of transport
- Retail/hospitality experience is desirable but not a deal-breaker -At Ghanda we value the right attitude over experience
