We believe that by 2050, every clinician will practice with AI systems that free them from administrative burdens and increase the quality and accessibility of care to patients across the world. Built for clinicians, by clinicians, at the core of Heidi is its people. We are an eclectic bunch of inventors, builders, scientists, nurses, doctors, mathematicians, designers, creatives, and high-agency executors.

We achieved in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do. In just 12 months, 20 million patient consults were supported by Heidi, and we’re now powering more than 1 million consults every week. With our most recent $16.6MM round of funding from leading VC firms, we’re geared up to supercharge our ambitious global growth, starting with the US, Canada, UK and Europe - and we need great people like you to get there.

The Role

We’re hiring a People Partner to own the full employee experience, by implementing people processes and systems, with a sharp focus on performance and growth in building a world class team.

You’ll partner closely with the Head of People and functional leads across the business to design people programs that are scalable, human, and grounded in high performance. You’ll also support key cultural rituals that drive alignment, clarity and force multiplying effects across a globally distributed team.

If you’ve built people infrastructure from scratch in a high growth tech company and iterated on these processes to achieve significant headcount growth from 150 -> 300+ humans then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you’ll do:

  • Own the employee lifecycle end-to-end offering a delightful experience from onboarding, performance, engagement, learning, growth and offboarding.
  • People tech stack refine systems and processes, automate, introduce (AI) tools where it makes sense whilst remaining human in approach.
  • Ensure all essential HR handbooks, policies and procedures are in place so we can scale safely and speedily!
  • Support on Aus payroll, issuing employment contracts, visas and any other people admin.
  • Revise employee benefits locally and globally partnering with UK and US teams
  • Build and iterate on our onboarding experience to help new team members hit the ground running and support new leaders cross functionally.
  • Design and manage performance enablement cycles, tools, timelines, templates, communications, calibration, and everything in between.
  • Partner with leads to help their teams grow, through clear role design, pathways, feedback mechanisms, and growth conversations.
  • Design and run engagement surveys; surface insights and support teams to act on results.
  • Partner with the broader People team to roll out systems and rituals that scale with us (comp cycles, recognition, values enablement, and more).
  • Track and analyse people data and establish key metrics to inform decisions and improve processes.

What we will look for:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in People Partner/HR role, with a focus on high performance, scalable people systems, programs and operations.
  • Strong foundation in Human Resources and basic knowledge of essential policies and procedures.
  • Strong track record in a high-growth tech environment, ideally within a startup or scaleup.
  • Experience designing and executing people processes from scratch, not just running existing ones.
  • Strong systems thinking and operational execution, you know how to move from insight to implementation, fast.
  • A sharp eye for detail: simplify complexity, and make information accessible.
  • Natural relationship-builder - trusted by leaders and team members across levels and functions.
  • Curiosity, humility, and a strong sense of ownership, you’re energised by building things that work and last.

Attitude is more important than experience so if you are a hungry, competitive and highly motivated operator who has a knack for problem solving and building relationships, we want to hear from you.

What do we believe in?

  • We create unconventional solutions to difficult problems and we build them fast. We want you to set impossible goals and make them happen, think landing a rocket but the medical version.
  • You'll be surrounded by a world-class team of engineers, medicos and designers to do your best work, inspired by our shared beliefs:
  • We will stop at nothing to improve patient care across the world.
  • We design user experiences for joy and ship them fast.
  • We make decisions in a flat hierarchy that prioritises the truth over rank.
  • We provide the resources for people to succeed and give them the freedom to do it.

Why you will flourish with us ?

Who are Heidi?

Heidi is on a mission to halve the time it takes to deliver world-class care.

We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do.

  • You'll be surrounded by a world-class team of builders, engineers, medicos and designers to do your best work, inspired by our shared beliefs:

    • We will stop at nothing to improve patient care across the world.

    • We design user experiences for joy and ship them fast.

    • We make decisions in a flat hierarchy that prioritises the truth over rank.

    • We provide the resources for people to succeed and give them the freedom to do it.

Why you will flourish with us ?

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • Additional paid day off for your birthday and wellness days

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!
