The NT Remote Locum Program (NTRLP) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

About you

- Project and/or site experience highly regarded.

Collaborating with real estate experts and internal teams, you’ll identify prime locations and work closely with design and store fit-out specialists to create spaces that go beyond traditional retail — becoming vibrant community hubs that connect people through a shared passion for the outdoors.
In this role, you’ll lead the Salomon Retail ANZ team, overseeing a portfolio of full-price brand stores and outlet stores across the region. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional, locally relevant store experiences that reflect Salomon’s brand promise. With a strong emphasis on storytelling, you’ll drive best-in-class retail experiences that inspire and engage every customer.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Developing and executing a 3–5-year retail strategy to support Salomon’s growth across ANZ, including:
- Market expansion
- New store formats and openings (full-price, outlet, and franchise)
- Omnichannel retail integration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and secure high-impact retail locations that support long-term brand and business success.
- Leading all retail operations across ANZ, ensuring full-price and outlet channels achieve their unique goals while delivering consistent brand experiences.
- Driving category leadership in footwear through compelling merchandising, consumer engagement, and in-store product education.
- Building and developing high-performing teams , fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with global and regional teams to align on long-term initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Working closely with leaders from Arc’teryx and Wilson to share operational best practices, drive retail excellence, and preserve each brand’s unique identity.
- Overseeing franchise partnerships , including partner selection, business model development, and brand alignment.
- Managing all aspects of retail infrastructure across the region.
- Using consumer insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to guide strategy and execution.
- Owning the retail P&L , delivering performance against key KPIs including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring every store execution reflects Salomon’s values , sustainability commitments, and premium positioning.
- Partnering with internal teams across Merchandise, Brand Marketing, HR, Finance, & Logistics/Supply Chain to drive value for the business.
- Leading by example , embodying Salomon’s values and inspiring teams to live our outdoor-driven ethos.

What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience leading retail teams for a global performance, lifestyle or athleisure brand.
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience building a premium retail brand within a hands-on, small-team environment.
- Strategic thinking and a track record of navigating complex, fast-moving environments.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L ownership experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of the ANZ retail market and consumer behaviour in the sporting or outdoor industry.
- Experience with full-price and outlet retail models.
- Expertise in footwear — from consumer trends to fit and performance insights.
- Familiarity with franchise operations, including setup and partner management.
- A personal connection to the outdoors and alignment with Salomon’s brand values.
- Willingness to travel across ANZ and internationally when required.

Your Role
As a Senior Electrical & Instrument Engineer, you will:
- Instrumentation & Measurement: Design and specification of pressure, flow, level, and temperature instruments, including datasheets, loop diagrams, tank gauging, custody transfer, and metering skids.
- Valves & Actuators: Expertise in on/off and control valve specification, sizing, and actuator selection.
- Control Systems & Architecture: Selection of control system hardware, system architecture design, and functional specifications. Proficient in field I/O wiring, marshalling, operator interfaces, cybersecurity, and communications networks.
- Safety & Risk Assessment: Design of SIS, SIF, SIL, and fire and gas detection systems. Risk assessment experience using Bowtie, LOPA, and CHAZOP methodologies.
- Hazardous Areas & Compliance: Hazardous area classification, calculations (Ex ‘i’, ‘e’), dossier creation, and hazardous installation design.
- Testing & Commissioning: Planning and execution of FAT, SAT, commissioning, audits, inspections, and operational support.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or substantial progress towards obtaining it).
- The role involves coordinating and executing complex Instrument and Control assignments, modifying established guides or developing new approaches as needed. Candidates must be proficient in creating detailed designs, reviewing and approving work, and applying advanced engineering knowledge.
- Expertise in Instrument and Control software is essential, including verifying results and mentoring others. Required software includes Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows), with high proficiency in InstruCalc expected.
- A strong ability to interpret and apply Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements to engineering design is required.
