A key role reporting to the Lead – Regulatory Compliance is responsible for assisting in supplier due diligence, maintaining compliance records, preparing reports, and supporting both the Specialist and Lead to embed compliant procurement practices across the organisation.
The Analyst – Regulatory Compliance (Procurement) delivers timely, accurate and insightful analysis of procurement data to support regulatory compliance requirements, reporting and process assurance. The role will also contribute to the promotion and integration of regulatory procurement initiatives within Origin, to create a strong platform of engagement between internal business partners and our suppliers.

Apply risk mitigation methodologies and ongoing monitoring to reduce procurement risks related to ESG considerations.
Work cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements that enhance stakeholder experience and deliver strategic opportunities.
Assess and model assurance exercises on related procurement policies to identify and action areas for improvement.
Support relevant procurement business processes by offering information, guidance, and engagement for commercial negotiations.

Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement ERP systems (e.g. SAP/Ariba).
Demonstrated experience in procurement, reporting, data, and analytics, with regulatory reporting experience highly regarded.
Intermediate-advanced data modelling skills and extensive experience with large datasets and complex analysis.
Success in delivering insights through data and analytical solutions and data visualisation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.

The City Inspectorate branch is responsible for enforcement of the City’s standards and local laws, across building, community, public safety and environmental health compliance to protect safety and amenity for the City’s residents and visitors.
The Community Compliance Business Unit Is Responsible For
- Patrolling and enforcing parking laws in paid parking and timed parking areas, off-street regulated parking areas, designated disabled parking bays, and respond to and investigate complaints and breaches of parking regulations.
- Reviewing and managing unpaid parking fines and related disputes.
- Delivering animal management initiatives to residents including patrols and enforcement, impounding and off leash facilities, pet education, and complaints management, to ensure animals are appropriately cared for and managed in compliance with legislation.
The Coordinator Regulatory Compliance is a new role within the City, established to lead and manage the Compliance Ranger Unit. The City’s Compliance Rangers have been established to provide enhanced customer and regulatory outcomes within the compliance environment. The Coordinator Regulatory Compliance will provide operational oversight of the Compliance Ranger Unit to provide Animal Management, City Parking and City Laws compliance outcomes in a seamless and synchronised approach. Significant liaison will be required with both internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve the required end state whilst ensuring that other business areas operations are not disrupted.
A key requirement of the Coordinator Regulatory Compliance will be to provide execution focused project management for the ongoing expansion and development of the Compliance Ranger function. This will include the coordination and implementation of trials and proof of concept activities, stakeholder workshops and project reporting.
As a Coordinator within the City Inspectorate, the Coordinator Regulatory Compliance is considered a key leadership role within the Branch and will be expected to contribute to and deliver Branch level initiatives across the multiple areas.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead and coordinate the Compliance Ranger Unit which proactively address a diverse range of compliance matters relative to State and City legislation, policies and standards.
- Management of resources to ensure optimum service delivery.
- Promote and deliver a culture of continuous learning, efficiency, and service innovation to ensure compliance, contemporary practice, and outcome-focused service delivery.
- Coordinate and lead the continued enhancement and development of the Compliance Ranger Function. Conduct detailed project planning and trial functional concepts to achieve the future vision for the Compliance Ranger function.
- Provision of specialised professional advice across a diverse range of technical regulatory matters.
- Establish and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships within Council and external (community groups, businesses and associations) to increase awareness, voluntary compliance and continuous service improvement.
- Preparation of annual capital and operational budgets, and management of all associated operational functions within budget parameters.
- Management of all team Workplace Health and Safety matters and demonstrate exemplary leadership across the teams, including incident investigation, safety conversations and personal practice to ensure a safe workplace.
- You are an experienced operational leader able to develop and support a high performing culture whilst providing development of staff.
- Uphold the highest levels of honesty, integrity and values-based leadership within the context of a regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated business acumen able to manage capital and operational budgets as well as navigating enterprise governance requirements.
- You possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis in the areas of consultation, negotiation, conflict management and assertiveness, including the ability to prepare reports and correspondence with recommendations and deal with issues with confidentiality and tact.
- You have the ability to quickly apply knowledge of relevant legislation and practices to promptly provide advice to officers on the proper course of action for individual matters.
- You have proven ability to work within a team withdemonstrable experience in managing multiple tasks, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to reach agreed successful outcomes.
- You provide sound advice, options or recommendations and review systems and services to meet changing organisational needs.
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Equivalent Knowledge and Experience
- Certificate III in Local Government (Regulatory Services) (desirable) or Equivalent Knowledge and/or Experience
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (desirable) or Equivalent Knowledge and/or Experience
- Drivers Licence Class C Unrestricted

Job Description
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our growing Compliance Team. Your primary role will be to help manage regulatory risks in Australia and New Zealand (Pacific region), and to contribute to projects strengthening the compliance team’s approach to managing these.
The role will primarily focus on consumer protection and conduct obligations (such as Design Distribution Obligations and complaints management) and modern slavery (key domains).
Primary responsibilities include (as they relate to the key domains):
- Policy ownership and advisory. This involves defining requirements, owning and maintaining policies, maintaining obligations documentation and collaborating with group policy owners to ensure appropriate consideration of local requirements.
- Advisory. This involves providing regulatory guidance to 1st line; Review and approve relevant product feature changes, control changes, control exception or design of new control; and through oversight, provide insights and uplift advice to domain SOP
- Oversight and challenge. This involves review and challenge of adequacy of controls and action plans, conducting thematic deep dives, and performing issues validation for certain issues.
- Regulatory training creation and maintenance based on needs assessment with areas carrying concentrated regulatory risk, and created for functional teams as they relate to the key domains.
- Governance. This involves preparing memos/papers on specific topics as guided by the Head of Compliance Pacific.
Additional responsibilities for the role include:
- Monitor and maintain issues and incidents. This involves monitoring progress of issues resolution, monitoring and assessing incidents for local reportability, and performing deep dives to identify systemic issues/themes.
- Uplift and/or build projects as directed by the Head of Compliance Pacific to enhance the compliance management framework.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have a background in financial services regulation relating to consumer protection and conduct, and be effective in dealing with a variety of stakeholders across Wise.
In addition, you will have great communication and organisational skills, as well as tons of motivation and positivity. More specifically, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate they have these attributes:
- Theory. You are an expert in regulatory compliance having a background in financial regulation and a thorough knowledge of consumer protection and conduct regulations applying to money remittance and payments companies, and are familiar with the regulatory requirements from regulators such as ASIC and APRA.
- Practice. You have deep experience providing regulatory compliance or legal advice or oversight of financial services institutions with an AFSL. You are a problem-solver.
- Passion. You get a kick out of improving current practices and processes and have the drive to apply different compliance strategies to develop multiple compliance frameworks.
- Get the job done. You have a sense of urgency and an ability to work well under pressure, prioritising, taking responsibility and working to tight deadlines.
- Travel. The role is based in Sydney, but many of our teams are located across different office locations around the world. You’ll be ready to travel to meet your objectives, as a guideline roughly one to three times a year, subject to business needs.

We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our growing Compliance Team. Your primary role will be to help manage regulatory risks in Australia and New Zealand (Pacific region), and to contribute to projects strengthening the compliance team’s approach to managing these.
The role will primarily focus on consumer protection and conduct obligations (such as Design Distribution Obligations and complaints management) and modern slavery (key domains).
Primary responsibilities include (as they relate to the key domains):
- Policy ownership and advisory. This involves defining requirements, owning and maintaining policies, maintaining obligations documentation and collaborating with group policy owners to ensure appropriate consideration of local requirements.
- Advisory. This involves providing regulatory guidance to 1st line; Review and approve relevant product feature changes, control changes, control exception or design of new control; and through oversight, provide insights and uplift advice to domain SOP
- Oversight and challenge. This involves review and challenge of adequacy of controls and action plans, conducting thematic deep dives, and performing issues validation for certain issues.
- Regulatory training creation and maintenance based on needs assessment with areas carrying concentrated regulatory risk, and created for functional teams as they relate to the key domains.
- Governance. This involves preparing memos/papers on specific topics as guided by the Head of Compliance Pacific.
- Monitor and maintain issues and incidents. This involves monitoring progress of issues resolution, monitoring and assessing incidents for local reportability, and performing deep dives to identify systemic issues/themes.
- Uplift and/or build projects as directed by the Head of Compliance Pacific to enhance the compliance management framework.
Our ideal candidate will have a background in financial services regulation relating to consumer protection and conduct, and be effective in dealing with a variety of stakeholders across Wise.

In addition, you will have great communication and organisational skills, as well as tons of motivation and positivity. More specifically, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate they have these attributes:
- Theory. You are an expert in regulatory compliance having a background in financial regulation and a thorough knowledge of consumer protection and conduct regulations applying to money remittance and payments companies, and are familiar with the regulatory requirements from regulators such as ASIC and APRA.
- Practice. You have deep experience providing regulatory compliance or legal advice or oversight of financial services institutions with an AFSL. You are a problem-solver.
- Passion. You get a kick out of improving current practices and processes and have the drive to apply different compliance strategies to develop multiple compliance frameworks.
- Get the job done. You have a sense of urgency and an ability to work well under pressure, prioritising, taking responsibility and working to tight deadlines.

Our Local Programs and Regulatory Compliance team is responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in the countries where we operate.
We are seeking an experienced, agile individual to join our Compliance team in Australia. You will support the regional Regulatory Compliance VP and AMLCO, working closely with local and global teams and key stakeholders to uphold a top-tier Compliance program.
You will be responsible for supporting Crypto.com’s operational compliance obligations, including regulatory reporting, dispute resolution, compliance assessments, risk management, and various projects within the Australian compliance framework. Additionally, you will advise on and oversee derivatives business activities concerning regulatory and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management of our regulatory compliance program in Australia, including monitoring AFSL obligations, advising on compliance matters, and assisting with regulatory reports.
- Liaise with global compliance officers on cross-border activities.
- Provide guidance on new products and business structures.
- Manage internal controls, conduct assessments, and monitor service provider SLAs.
- Handle regulatory inquiries, bankruptcy requests, deceased estate, Centrelink cases, and disputes including AFCA interactions.
- Perform compliance assessments of digital assets and assist with third-party due diligence.
- Review marketing materials and escalate financial crime cases.
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and work plans.
- Keep the business informed about regulatory changes.
- Support external audits, inspections, and industry consultations on digital asset regulation.
- Promote compliance awareness, provide training, and support the compliance team as 2IC.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial services compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree; RG146 compliance and ACAMS certification preferred.
- Knowledge of AFSL obligations, derivatives compliance, and reporting.
- Leadership experience and familiarity with ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements.
- Understanding of RBA and APRA requirements is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation, write reports, and manage deadlines.
- Interest and knowledge in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech.
- Advanced computer skills, including regulatory portals, CRM, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
- Based in Australia with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
